Sub Agent – Infrastructure - Ipswich

Purpose of the roleAs a Sub Agent based on our brand new £100m+ major highways project in the Ipswich area, you will assist the Site Agent and Project Manager to successfully deliver the works.
Responsibilities- General Site Management including producing and managing the programme and supervising the successful delivery of it
- Ensuring day-to-day compliance of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, in line with company procedures and legal obligations
- Ensuring that site diaries and all other records are kept up to date
- Monthly and weekly reporting
- Maintaining key relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors
- Day-to-day management of a section of works including the supervision & monitoring of the site team and supply chain
- Progress and performance reporting to the Project Manager
- Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are correctly carried out
- Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly inspections are carried out and that all audits and reports are produced
- Ensure that the QA file is produced and maintained
- Background in Roadworks or Structures packages preferred; general highways or civil engineering experience considered
- Experience in managing site programmes and reporting
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, environmental and quality standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
