Sub Agent – Infrastructure - Ipswich

As a Sub Agent based on our brand new £100m+ major highways project in the Ipswich area, you will assist the Site Agent and Project Manager to successfully deliver the works.

• General Site Management including producing and managing the programme and supervising the successful delivery of it
• Ensuring day-to-day compliance of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, in line with company procedures and legal obligations
• Ensuring that site diaries and all other records are kept up to date
• Monthly and weekly reporting
• Maintaining key relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors
• Day-to-day management of a section of works including the supervision & monitoring of the site team and supply chain
• Progress and performance reporting to the Project Manager
• Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Permit to Work systems, site inductions and safety briefings are correctly carried out
• Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly inspections are carried out and that all audits and reports are produced
• Ensure that the QA file is produced and maintained

• Background in Roadworks or Structures packages preferred; general highways or civil engineering experience considered
• Experience in managing site programmes and reporting
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, environmental and quality standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
