Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Piling Recruitment Group (PRG) are recruiting on behalf of a leading ground engineering contractor for a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join the Sizewell C project. This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for project cost control, contract management, and ensuring financial delivery across one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure schemes.

• Lead and mentor junior QS staff
• Develop and implement commercial strategy to meet project margins
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow
• Oversee subcontract tendering and contract administration
• Ensure variations are valued, agreed, and processed efficiently
• Provide accurate monthly cost/value reporting to project leadership

• Proven QS experience in construction / ground engineering projects (essential: piling/geotechnical)
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, contract law, and procurement
• RICS/CIOB membership or equivalent qualification preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills
• Able to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines
