Senior Quantity Surveyor

Piling Recruitment Group (PRG) are recruiting on behalf of a leading ground engineering contractor for a SQS to join the Sizewell C project.

This is a senior commercial role with responsibility for project cost control, contract management, and ensuring financial delivery across one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure schemes.

Key responsibilities:

Lead and mentor junior QS staff
Develop and implement commercial strategy to meet project margins
Manage cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow
Oversee subcontract tendering and contract administration
Ensure variations are valued, agreed, and processed efficiently
Provide accurate monthly cost/value reporting to project leadership

We’re looking for:
Proven QS experience in construction / ground engineering projects (essential: piling/geotechnical)
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, contract law, and procurement
RICS/CIOB membership or equivalent qualification preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills
Able to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines
