Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering critical water infrastructure projects under both the Southern Water AMP8 frameworks. This position is ideal for a proactive and safety-conscious professional with a strong background in the water or utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all site operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.

Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, environmental standards, and company policies.

Maintain and manage site records including RAMS, permits to work, daily briefings, and reports.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, engineers, and the project team.

Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and deliver toolbox talks.

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager in the water or utilities sector, ideally on AMP frameworks.

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - Essential

Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Valid CSCS card - Preferred

First Aid at Work - Desirable

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
