Quantity Surveyor – NEC Contracts | Front-End Procurement

A leading independent construction and property consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract experience to support a major nationally significant nuclear infrastructure programme in East Anglia.

The programme forms a cornerstone of the UK’s net‑zero strategy, delivering long‑term, low‑carbon energy generation and playing a critical role in national energy security.

The Role
  • Front‑end commercial and procurement delivery under NEC contracts
  • Preparation of tender documentation, procurement strategies and contract data
  • Early‑stage cost planning, risk management and commercial reporting
  • Working collaboratively with client, design and delivery teams on a highly regulated programme
  • Supporting best‑practice commercial governance from project inception
About You
  • Quantity Surveyor with experience in consultancy or client‑side environments
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
  • Background in infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects advantageous
  • Comfortable operating at the front end of complex, long‑term programmes
  • Based in, or willing to commute to, Ipswich / East Anglia
