Earthworks Estimator Overview

We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Estimator to join a growing and diversified construction business operating nationally across earthworks, civils, and demolition projects. This is a key commercial role, supporting the successful delivery of complex and technically challenging schemes.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing detailed, accurate, and competitive cost estimates across a range of earthworks, civil engineering, and demolition projects. You will play a vital role in tender preparation, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure bids are commercially sound and deliverable.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Analyse project requirements, risks, and opportunities
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Identify value engineering options and cost-saving solutions
• Support the preparation and submission of tenders and bids
• Work collaboratively with project and operational teams to ensure realistic pricing
• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the tender process
