Credit Management Administrator

12 month FTC – Ipswich/hybrid – CLOSING DATE: 10 March

About the role:
  • Be responsible for the completion of administrative duties within the Operations Credit Management function and provide wider support within the business unit where required.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders, proactively identifying and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager, ensuring all relevant information is communicated accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate customer letter and email campaigns, ensuring communications are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Distribute management information and provide clear, concise commentary to stakeholders.
  • Support the wider team and department in achieving business objectives and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
  • Conduct inbound and outbound customer contact as required.
  • Escalate eligible accounts to third parties and manage associated processes, including monitoring account updates.
  • Complete accounts receivable administrative tasks such as write‑offs, suspense management, and daily banking.

  • Understanding of the energy sector and regulatory requirements
  • Highly motivated, work on own initiative and capable of problem solving
  • Strong administrative skills including Microsoft packages
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong time management, working at fast pace and to deadlines
