Base pay range

Permanent, part time, 29.6 hours per week (0.8 FTE, flexibility on how these hours are worked)

Band 2 - £25,804 to £28,031 per annum, pro rata

About The Post

The post holder will form part of a small team dedicated to supporting many of the underpinning processes and procedures which ensure students at the University have a smooth experience during their course. The team supports a number of ongoing tasks including oversight of the Extenuating Circumstances processes, and support with student case work, together with other seasonal activities and events such as Graduation.

The post holder will become an expert user of a number of university systems and be empowered to identify opportunities for enhancement and process improvement. The team provide direct support to students by responding to enquiries and supporting student-facing services.

About The Team

The Student Journey Administration team sits with the Directorate of Registry Services, contributing to the co-ordination of a range of services to support every step of the student journey. The post is part of a small team, working in a fast-paced and varied environment with a number of different objectives and changing areas of focus during the year. The post offered plenty of scope for liaison and networking with the wider organisation over a number of shared projects and objectives.

You
  • The post holder will have a flexible, can-do approach to work, be embracing of change and willing to learn new skills.
  • They will be confident in their technical abilities, in particular familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, and have a track record in being able to learn new systems and processes.
  • They will be student or customer focused in their approach, actively working to identify ways of enhancing the student experience and delivering high quality services at all times.
