Driving Manager

• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of professional CDL Class A drivers
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with drivers while fostering a respectful and supportive work environment
• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for timely pickup and delivery of freight to customers and vendors
• Monitor driver locations and load progress to ensure on‑time pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate operational data by consistently updating projected times of availability (PTAs) and estimated times of arrival (ETAs)
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to schedule necessary equipment repairs and preventative services
• Partner with fellow Driver Managers and provide cross‑coverage support as needed
• Contribute to strategic planning efforts that support regional customer growth and expansion
• Analyze transportation expenses and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction
• Review and approve driver time‑off requests
• Uphold and promote company core values, including Safety, Service, Positive Attitude, and Respect
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Working knowledge of the trucking industry and commercial motor vehicle operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Self‑motivated with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
• Collaborative team player who thrives in group problem‑solving environments
