Job Summary

We are seeking a Full Stack Type Script Developer to join a fast-paced R&D environment focused on building software systems that interact with automated machinery used in agricultural research. In this role, you will design, develop, and support full-stack applications using Type Script, Node.js, and React, working closely with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. This position offers a high degree of ownership, creativity, and technical influence throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Type Script, Node.js, and React
• Build and maintain JSON-based APIs to support automated systems and data exchange
• Design relational databases, write SQL queries, and optimize data models
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide input on product design and technical specifications
• Develop, debug, test, implement, and enhance software used in automated agricultural research systems
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues across front-end, back-end, and data layers
• Support deployed applications and contribute to continuous improvement of system performance and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, database design, or server administration
• Proficiency in JavaScript / Type Script , with 2+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong experience with Node.js and React in a production environment
• Proficiency in SQL query development and relational database design
• Experience developing and consuming JSON APIs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Williamsburg, IA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Git source control
• Familiarity with Git Hub Actions or other automation workflows
• Experience with Docker
• Exposure to CI/CD or continuous integration tools
