The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State‑Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Civil Commitment Unit for Sex Offenders (CCUSO) seeks a Psychiatric Security Specialist for a full‑time position. The role offers a shift differential of $0.90 per hour for the second shift and $1.00 per hour for the third shift, along with ample opportunities for advancement, growth, and development.

The Psychiatric Security Specialist provides direct‑care services that blend security and treatment functions within CCUSO.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervision of patient activities at the CCUSO facility.
- Facilitation of psycho‑educational group activities.
- Documentation of patient behaviors.
- Operation of the master control center.
- Supervision of patients on medical trips outside the facility.
Applicants must complete a background check.
