Lead Service Technician – Spirit Lake, IA

CW Suter Services is looking for a Lead Service Technician to join our growing team in Spirit Lake.

To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Lead and supervise a crew to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on-schedule.

• Install, service, diagnose and repair HVAC Systems
• Work on call to service orders that come in
• Go into commercial and residential properties to service HVAC Systems
• Basic knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
• Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units
• Understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
• Willing to further knowledge of the HVAC industry
• Provide feedback regarding training needs, inventory, etc.

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints
• Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience making repair and replace decisions
• At least 2 years of HVAC experience
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Advanced customer service, leadership, and decision-making skills
