Service Technician

Axis Builders, a division of AXIS Real Estate Investment Firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the team as a full‑time Service Technician. The applicant’s responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at renovating, repairing, and maintaining rental units to ensure they meet high‑quality standards and provide a comfortable living environment for tenants.

• Execute renovation projects as per company guidelines and standards, including painting, flooring replacement, fixture installation, and minor carpentry work.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform repairs promptly as needed, such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC maintenance, and addressing general wear and tear issues.
• Inspect, repair, and replace appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines) to ensure functionality and safety.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with property managers, tenants, and colleagues regarding maintenance requests, project updates, and any issues encountered.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and renovations performed.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after‑hours emergencies.
• Uphold high‑quality standards in all renovation and maintenance work to enhance the overall appeal and value of rental properties.

• Proven experience in renovation, repair, and maintenance work, preferably in a rental property setting.
• Proficiency in trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with tenants, property managers, and team members.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on‑call shifts.
• Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and navigating confined spaces.
