Field Service Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are expanding and need several additional Field Service on the road and in the shop Diesel Technicians/Mechanic.

Job duties include but not limited to:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all types of trucks/equipment
• Repair and troubleshoot engines
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty components
• Positive interface with foreman, parts department, and customers
• General computer skills
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
• Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them
• Solid written and verbal communication skills

Position Requirements:

Experienced Diesel Tech OR we will train the right person that has a background in diesel mechanics
Must have your own set of general tools
Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks/equipment or trade school.
- Ability to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
- Possess own set of general tools.
- Utilize computers for web-based training and work order system.
- Technical degree or certification a plus.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
