Field Service Specialist-Energy Audit and Education
Contract
Installation of energy efficient measures in low income residential neighborhoods throughout the Carolinas. Must be comfortable traveling 4 nights per week.
- Education of residents regarding measures installed
- Safety and quality reporting to Field Lead
- Participation in neighborhood kickoff events
- Background in HVAC, energy efficiency, or related field required
- Excellent customer service background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work to a deadline and in fast paced environment
- Travel 90% of the time. Reimbursed for expenses. Leave Monday morning and return Friday evening at 5:00. Travel in NC/SC. Transportation provided.
- This is not a role replacing equipment or working on HVAC systems or boilers
- Must be able to communicate clearly and comfortably with customers. Installation of light bulbs, weather stripping, filters, aerators, shower heads etc and educating customers in low income neighborhoods on energy efficiency and energy reduction.
- Requires a High Diploma or equivalent.
- Pay Rate 15-17/hr.
- This job is a heavy travel job and is not HVAC work or plumbing work. It's essentially energy audit work and education.
