Data Center Technician - New Hampton, Iowa

Full time

$20-$25 hrly depending on experience

We are seeking a skilled On-Site Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on a variety of specialized equipment. Your work will help ensure the smooth and continuous operation of our facility.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform component-level repairs and replacements (circuit boards, power supplies, fans, etc.).
• Support the installation and commissioning of new hardware and systems.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or vocational training in electrical/mechanical fields preferred.
• Experience in hardware maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting (industrial or data center environment a plus).
• Familiarity with specialized computing hardware or other electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC power distribution.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools/software for troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to respond to on-call or off-hour emergencies when needed.
