Special Projects – General Construction Specialist

Midwest Industries, Inc., a prominent manufacturer of Shore Land’r Boat Trailers and Shore Station Waterfront Equipment, is currently seeking a Special Projects – General Construction Technician to join our esteemed Maintenance team.

122 IA-175, Ida Grove, IA 51445

All positions are on-site and require in-person attendance.

• Assist with general maintenance and renovation projects across our properties—including our factory, hangar, chalet, and other facilities.
• Help with construction tasks such as framing, drywall, flooring, and light carpentry.
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical work.
• Pour and finish small concrete projects.
• Build and repair custom wood pieces in our on-site wood shop.
• Clear snow and help keep our properties safe and functional.
• Occasionally travel to our lake property in Minnesota for special projects.

• General carpentry experience.
• Comfortable with power tools and construction equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Welding, HVAC, or equipment experience is a plus—but not required.
