What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Identify sales opportunities, present solutions, overcome objections, and close business across assigned dealership groups
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at the senior leadership level within dealer groups
  • Document client business structure, needs, and decision-making processes to tailor solutions effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic plans for revenue growth and product penetration
  • Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities using Salesforce and ensure effective communication with internal teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry and dealership operations
  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in complex sales cycles with senior executives
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 4+ years of experience selling automotive retail products or equivalent CRM software
  • 2+ years of experience selling to large dealer groups or OEMs
  • Deep knowledge of Cox Automotive products and services
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and ability to lead presentations at senior levels
  • Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
