Role Overview

The Lead Supervisor role is integral to the store’s success, modeling the behaviors needed to directly impact all aspects of our Company’s business:
Sales and Operational Processes. This individual shows exemplary performance, representing Coach at its highest standards and serving as a true player capable of adapting to all roles within the store environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sales:
    • Understand organizational objectives and make decisions in partnership with Store Manager(s) and Assistant Store Manager(s) that align with Company priorities and values.
    • Endorse, model, and develop the team to deliver Coach’s Selling and Service expectations.
    • Enforce sales strategies, initiatives and growth across all categories.
    • Work with Store Manager(s) and/or Assistant Store Manager(s) to flex store business strategies and personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store and financial results.
    • Leverage floor supervisor assignment responsibilities to deliver strong metrics; remain results driven, including through team selling and selling to multiple customers.
    • Hold sales team accountable for personal sales and maximize clienteling strategy to achieve business goals.
    • Build credibility and trust with team as well as customers, serving as a personal fashion advisor.
    • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market/mall to drive brand loyalty and business.
    • Read customer cues, stay solution-oriented, and partner with Store Manager(s) and/or District Manager as appropriate.
    • Develop product knowledge and remain aware of current collections.
    • Recognize positive sales impact of staffing and recruit accordingly.
    • Coaching:

      develop, motivate, delegate and empower the team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; provide constructive feedback; set short- and long-term goals.
  • Operations:
    • Manage daily operational tasks according to Coach standards, switching gears based on the needs of the business.
    • Demonstrate strong business acumen; communicate with supervisors regularly; maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
    • Maintain interior and exterior upkeep of the building in partnership with corporate.
    • Use retail systems and reporting tools to make informed decisions.
    • Adhere to all applicable Coach retail policies and procedures.
    • Leverage Coach’s tools and technology to support relationship building and clienteling efforts.
    • Work with Store Manager(s) and/or Assistant Store Manager(s) to flex store business strategies to improve productive functions.
    • Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service or Coach standards.
