Assistant Manager Restaurant – The Coffee Shop

At Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, we are looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee a high‑volume restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, financial performance, and compliance with food safety standards.

• Constantly monitor service levels on the dining room floor and adjust staffing as needed.
• Maintain Food Line Check to ensure ticket times meet property standards.
• Complete daily paperwork, reports, and financial analysis for the restaurant.
• Approach every table to ensure guest satisfaction and meet dining expectations.
• Order products and supplies for the restaurant.
• Process dinner reservations for guests.
• Conduct daily pre‑shift meetings and regular staff training sessions.
• Manage, lead, hire, schedule, counsel, and commend staff.
• Train staff on service procedures and hold them accountable to standards.
• Ensure daily operational tasks are performed and completed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant.
• Communicate professionally via e‑mail and follow computer use guidelines.
• Ensure required tools and equipment are provided to staff.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels and control budgeted labor costs.
• Follow departmental and company policies.
• Assist the Manager in achieving service, financial, and human resource goals set by property executives.
• Perform any additional duties necessary for department success.

• Two years prior night club Assistant Manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Two years prior high‑volume restaurant Assistant Manager or supervisory experience required.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
• College degree preferred.
• Must pass restaurant menu knowledge testing (details provided).
