TITLE: Seasonal Natural Resources Technician
DEPARTMENT: Natural Resources
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

As department intern, aptitude and willingness to learn are key:

• Support the Environmental Branch in all environmental programming to include; air quality, water quality, soil and land ecology
• perform routine water sampling and data collection
• perform air quality monitoring and data collection
• data management and report writing
• field survey and data collection for various plant materials, wildlife and aquatic species
• maintain office and workspace in a clean and orderly fashion
• perform light custodial maintenance of equipment such as utvs and trucks
• attend meetings and trainings to enhance development
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required
• Currently enrolled, or recent graduate, college student in a Natural Resources, Ecology, Conservation, Agriculture or similar program preferred
• Valid driver's license; must be insurable per Tribal Government requirements.
• ability to work outdoors in all weather, traverse uneven ground for long periods of time, while carrying a pack with tools/supplies and work around or in natural bodies of water.
