Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and skilled RN looking to make a significant impact in the Emergency Department? Join our dedicated team and provide vital nursing care with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Plan, organize, and direct nursing functions, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Administer medications and intravenous solutions accurately and safely.
- Evaluate patient and family responses to the care plan and adapt it according to their needs.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work climate that encourages growth and job satisfaction for team members.
- Prioritize patient needs while managing a demanding workload in a dynamic setting.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and fellow staff members.
- Uphold and support infection control policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training for staff enhancement.
- Current Iowa licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Weekend Package:
Work 5 out of 6 weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 6 PM to 6:30 AM.
