RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work under limited supervision in the Emergency Department providing total nursing care

• Work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing functions including direct patient care

• Administer medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly

• Provide assistance to Med-Surg and other departments as needed

• Perform documentation accurately, concisely, and in a timely manner

• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel

• Attend meetings and in-services as required

• Required certifications:
Current Iowa RN licensure, Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

• Must obtain Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification

• Wear appropriate apparel for the position and display nametag

• Maintain regular and predictable work attendance

• Demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well

• Support and enforce infection control policies and procedures

• Remain resourceful and calm in emergency situations

• Maintain confidentiality and high standards of courtesy with co-workers, patients, and visitors
