Location Benefits

Working in Anamosa places you in a friendly, close-knit community known for its hospitality and safe, walkable surroundings. You’ll enjoy the advantages of a manageable Midwest pace, access to outdoor activities, and a supportive network of healthcare professionals dedicated to your success. The travel nature of this role opens doors to experiences across the United States, allowing you to build a robust LTC portfolio while gaining exposure to different facility cultures, care models, and patient populations.

Whether you prefer a quieter rural setting or the chance to rotate through neighboring towns and facilities, you’ll find enriching experiences that sharpen your clinical judgment and strengthen your ability to respond to evolving care needs. And with 24/7 company support on the road, you’re never navigating a new environment alone—you’ll have dependable guidance and resources at your fingertips.

As an LTC RN on this travel assignment, your responsibilities will center on patient assessment, medication administration, wound and IV care, and comprehensive care planning in collaboration with physicians, CNAs, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, and family members. You’ll lead routine and complex assessments, monitor vitals, identify early signs of decline, implement evidence-based protocols, and document care plans with precision.

Your role includes effective discharge planning, transitional care recommendations, and educating residents and families to support ongoing wellness. The position offers professional growth within the long-term care specialty—opportunities to mentor newer nurses, lead quality improvement initiatives, and develop leadership competencies that pave the way for advanced practice or supervisory roles. The package features competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $671–$714, plus the potential for a sign‑on bonus, housing assistance, and contract extensions to maximize stability and continuity of care for residents and teams.
