Advanced Practice Practitioner – PRN

Under physician supervision, performs professional medical services to Health Trust Physicians Clinic patients in accordance with professional medical standards and Clinic and Hospital policies including, but not limited to, assessments; providing, monitoring and reviewing all aspects of the patient’s care; and providing patient care in the Clinic and possibly the Emergency Room if mutually agreed upon with employee and MCHCS. Completes documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Serves on hospital and clinic committees as assigned.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school for advanced practice providers such as Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• Licensure/certification:
  Current PA or ARNP license to practice as an advanced practice provider in the State of Iowa.
• Drug Enforcement Agency permission to prescribe and maintain controlled substances.
• Iowa Controlled Substance certificate
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

PRN – Monday – Friday Day Shift As Needed
