As an LTC RN on this travel assignment, your responsibilities will center on patient assessment, medication administration, wound and IV care, and comprehensive care planning in collaboration with physicians, CNAs, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, and family members. You’ll lead routine and complex assessments, monitor vitals, identify early signs of decline, implement evidence-based protocols, and document care plans with precision.
Your role includes effective discharge planning, transitional care recommendations, and educating residents and families to support ongoing wellness. The position offers professional growth within the long-term care specialty—opportunities to mentor newer nurses, lead quality improvement initiatives, and develop leadership competencies that pave the way for advanced practice or supervisory roles. The package features competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $671–$714, plus the potential for a sign‑on bonus, housing assistance, and contract extensions to maximize stability and continuity of care for residents and teams.
