General Function
The Hy-Vee Corporate Social Media team is seeking a dynamic social media professional that is detail-oriented and ambitious to help coordinate, execute and report on organic social media efforts, across multiple channels:
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, You Tube and Pinterest. Ideal candidates are fast learners, independent problem solvers and possess the ability to quickly pivot while representing the Hy-Vee brand.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with content production and project management coordination as needed.
- Monitor and share emerging social media, platform, industry and competitor trends.
- Support internal and external education of social media best practices and governance regulations.
- Identify user-generated content, and track approvals and usage.
- Assist with creating training and process documents.
- Help with reporting and data analytics for monthly and campaign reporting.
- Build social media campaign briefs and support content production coordination.
- Research and ideate audience and platform-specific content ideas.
- Assist with monthly organic Pinterest campaigns.
- Assist with publishing platform maintenance including data and dashboard clean up and organization.
- Assist with scheduling posts and native publishing as needed.
- Help with coordination and day-to-day communication with agency partners and internal teams.
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years previous related work experience preferred.
- Understanding of social media platforms is required.
- Experience working in a social media management system.
- Experience working in Meta Business Suite.
- Experience working with project management software.
Physical Requirements
- Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
- Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects as well as perform sedentary work.
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions
The duties for this position are conducted in a general office environment in a hybrid capacity. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
