CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Dayshift 6am – 2:30pm $22–23/hr DOE

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with strong attention to detail and a passion for precision? A local manufacturing facility is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. If you’re mechanically inclined and enjoy working with advanced machining technology, this could be a great fit for you.

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine settings
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Adjust machine offsets and parameters to maintain accuracy and quality
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure machines remain in safe working condition
• Maintain accurate production records and follow all quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes and efficiency

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Experience with CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of machining processes and precision measuring tools
• Dependable with reliable attendance and good communication skills
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting to 50 lbs
• Experience with CNC programming (G-code, CAM software, etc.) (preferred)
• Multi-axis machining experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement (preferred)

• Starting Pay: $22–23/hr DOE
