CNC TechJOB DESCRIPTION Summary/Objectives
The CNC technician operates one or more of the following machines: CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Press Brakes, Saws, and Lasers prior to fabrication, paint, and assembly. The CNC tech loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as quality and placement. This position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Opportunities to work extended hours during the week and weekend may be optional or required as job duties demand.
TravelNo travel is regularly expected for this position.
Required Education & Experience- High school diploma or GED diploma, or three to six months’ related experience (in farming, construction, or manufacturing) or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
