What a Day Looks Like

Your morning might start in Des Moines, your afternoon just across the river, and tomorrow could take you to a client site in MN or MO—still close to home. As a CNC field specialist supporting a locally defined territory with a primary focus on Iowa, you’ll diagnose, repair, and install advanced machine tools while keeping customers productive and confident in their equipment.

• Local-first travel: support customers within IA, MN, MO—about 50% travel, with paid travel time.
• Not a road warrior role: you’ll be home regularly while still seeing diverse sites and challenges.

From a precision alignment on a 5-axis VMC to a drive replacement on a multi-axis lathe, you’ll keep shops running and customers delighted. You’ll represent the brand with professionalism and integrity, take ownership of service cases, and document your work thoroughly.

• Perform field service, installations, and preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and resolve customer concerns.
• Partner with sales on technical support and solution recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with teams and clients; maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Uphold ethical, professional standards in every customer interaction.
• Handle related duties as assigned in a dynamic service environment.

Hands‑on experience installing, maintaining, and repairing CNC machining centers and turning centers. Strength in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics and repair.
