Food Safety Technicians are responsible for monitoring carcasses and the processing aids used in the slaughter process. This may include checking spray nozzle patterns, titrating organic acids, visual inspections of product, monitoring sanitary dressing, and speaking with production personnel. Food Safety Technicians assist with sampling and perform pre-operational environmental inspections. Other duties as assigned. The is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• A knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Beef products knowledge is preferred
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Qualified candidates must be available to work Monday, Friday, and Saturday. This is an hourly, management support position. Must be available to work holidays.
