This is a full-time hybrid role for an Industrial Maintenance Technician based in West Branch, IA, with some flexibility for remote work. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing repairs and upgrades, maintaining equipment logs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and collaborating with teams to improve operational efficiency.
The role requires adherence to industry standards to keep the facility and its advanced manufacturing systems operating smoothly.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Hands‑on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and the ability to read wiring schematics is preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow safety and operational protocols precisely.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team and across departments.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
- Experience in the clean energy or wind turbine industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or associate degrees in a related field are preferred.
