Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for monitoring product quality. They are stationed at the end of production lines where they inspect various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications, know the product specifications for the line they are working on, and fill out an audit report form. They must follow and help enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.

Additional responsibilities include metal detector auditing, testing trim for

E. coli via N60 sampling, and other duties as assigned. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• A knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Beef products knowledge is preferred
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish

This is an hourly, management support position. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
