Job Title:
Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities
  • Maintain appropriate documentation on shipments.
  • Complete all bills of lading for outbound shipments and update the system with correct information to allow for carrier payment.
  • Balance loader documentation with shipping order.
  • Manifest shipping orders, billing and inventory control.
  • Alert utility personnel of discrepancies if they arise.
  • Resolve paperwork discrepancies with utility people as needed.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers and contacts both internal and external.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must have an attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in shipping and/or receiving is preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Computer experience is required. Experience with Google Suite a plus.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene.
  • Work extended hours, weekends and overtime if needed.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
  • Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
