Job Title:
Shipping Coordinator
- Maintain appropriate documentation on shipments.
- Complete all bills of lading for outbound shipments and update the system with correct information to allow for carrier payment.
- Balance loader documentation with shipping order.
- Manifest shipping orders, billing and inventory control.
- Alert utility personnel of discrepancies if they arise.
- Resolve paperwork discrepancies with utility people as needed.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with carriers and contacts both internal and external.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have an attention to detail.
- Previous experience in shipping and/or receiving is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Computer experience is required. Experience with Google Suite a plus.
- Must practice good personal hygiene.
- Work extended hours, weekends and overtime if needed.
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
- Candidates must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, background screen and physical.
