Grain Facility Operator

Overview

Are you passionate about agriculture? Gold-Eagle Cooperative in Goldfield & Holmes, IA seeks a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Grain Facility Location Operator.

This operating position boasts a competitive pay of $19.00 - $23.50 per hour based on experience. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is included.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Extended hours, including weekends, are necessary during peak season.

As a Grain Facility Location Operator, each day brings a dynamic blend of responsibilities that keep our grain operations running smoothly. You will oversee the receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain, ensuring efficiency and accuracy at every step. While monitoring grain quality and operating equipment, you maintain our high service standards. You also keep our grain facilities and equipment clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.

During the busy agronomy season, you will assist the agronomy department and support the team wherever needed. With exemplary attendance and a proactive attitude, you demonstrate dedication to the job and contribute to a professional and positive workplace culture.

• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including prolonged standing, working in confined spaces and elevated heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders
• Able to work in conditions such as heat and cold
• Can lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Maintain a clean driving record
