Production Manager
Position Summary
American Athletic, Inc has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor
at its Jefferson, Iowa facility.
The Production Supervisor oversees production operations and employees within their assigned area to ensure a safe working environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with standard operating procedures, resolving operational issues, fostering a continuous improvement culture, and driving efficient and timely completion of production schedules.

Operations
- Develop and manage production schedules for the assigned area, setting clear priorities to meet operational targets.
- Coordinate, assign, and adjust employee work schedules to ensure staffing aligns with production needs.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing challenges to maintain workflow and product quality.
- Evaluate departmental performance and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Safety
- Promote and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Enforce company operating and safety policies and procedures.
Collaboration
- Partner with Purchasing to determine material requirements and ensure timely availability of all necessary components.
- Collaborate with Engineering to establish standard operating procedures and quality standards for each work cell.
- Work closely with the Maintenance team to establish maintenance procedures for all equipment in assigned work area.
- High School degree or equivalent required. Associate degree in a related field a plus.
- Solid manufacturing knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently
- Strong computer and MS Office knowledge and skills
- 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
- Management experience a plus.
