New Way Trucks - : [Automotive Mechanic / Auto Technician] As a Prep Technician at New Way Trucks, you'll:
Prepare and inspect the body of garbage trucks to be washed and painted;
Use hand and power tools to remove weld splatters and imperfections to create a smooth surface;
Inspect welds for consistency and penetration, reporting problem area to the department responsible for welding the unit;
Check units for hydraulic leaks and report problem areas to Hydraulics Department;
Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
