Production Team Member (Composite Technician) 1st and 2nd Shift

Position

As a composite technician you will assemble components by laying composites and materials such as pre-impregnated carbon fiber and fiberglass cloth onto molds & process parts through molding operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the hand layup of advanced composite materials on designated tooling per specific work instructions and customer specifications.
• Performs advanced composite operations to include trimming, vacuum-bagging, basic repair, material preparation, weighing, finishing, and molding operations.
• Inspection of in-process and finished product using hand measurement tools and other test procedures may be required.
• Record keeping of inspection results where required.
• Responsible for work orders and time calculations to ensure the quality of the product while providing suggestions for improvement.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent hand dexterity and coordination.
• Ability to maintain a clean & organized environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Schedule

1st and 2nd shift available

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM- 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday, Friday 6:00 AM- 10:00 AM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM Monday - Thursday
