2nd Shift Material Handler

Operate powered industrial lift truck equipment (forklifts, side loaders, parts pickers, etc.) to move product and material throughout the facility and record transactions appropriately to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Operate powered industrial lift truck equipment safely
• Move materials throughout the facility
• Provide production with empty receptacles (crates/pallets/tubs/etc.)
• Organize materials for accessibility to production and/or shipping personnel
• Maintain an electronic log of transactions using onboard tablet and inventory software
• Be a productive member of the department and adhere to Rosenboom policies, including safety requirements/procedures, to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Becomes familiar with work center numbers and general plant layout
• Identify and organize tasks to ensure production and shipping personnel have access to materials when needed
• Communicate effectively in English (spoken, written) and in a professional manner
• Demonstrate ability to generate and maintain accurate written and electronic records
