Paints and identifies products and components by customer, number and/or color; loads and unloads components/products from and/or to pallets, carts, machines, conveyors, etc.

• Uses proper painting techniques and paint troubleshooting.
• Understands and operates the various machines used in the painting process.
• Demonstrates a working understanding of the basic procedures of preparing cylinders before paint (how to hang, whether to use plugs, grease, etc.).
• Correctly identifies products/components by customer and/or color.
• Correctly inspects and identifies rejected cylinders before or after painting (broken plugs, bad welds, missing bushings, light or heavy paint, etc.) and corrects various paint defects.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• May enter required data into computer.
• Keeps track of paint inventory.
• Demonstrates a working understanding of the PAQ Queue and its functions.
• Ability to see color.
• Able to apply common sense understanding to basic work processes. Capable of carrying out detailed, but simply stated, written or oral instructions. Can deal with problems involving a few concrete and routine job specific variables.
• Demonstrates attention to detail.
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides all units of measure.
• Demonstrates commitment to the realization of company goals.
• Demonstrates commitment to working in a team setting.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner.
• Demonstrates ability to generate and maintain accurate and concise written records, as appropriate to job assignment.
