Food Safety Technicians are responsible for monitoring carcasses and the processing aids used in the slaughter process. This may include checking spray nozzle patterns, titrating organic acids, visual inspections of product, monitoring sanitary dressing, speaking with production personnel, assisting with sampling, and performing pre‑operational environmental inspections. Other duties as assigned. This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Experience with email communications
• Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Beef products knowledge preferred
• Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship
• Hourly, management support position; willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays
