Overview
One of the fastest-rising leaders in renewable natural gas is hiring a Lead Operations & Maintenance Technician who’s ready to grow fast. You’ll start on-site at the Maurice, Iowa, plant, mastering the systems that turn dairy manure into renewable natural gas. You’ll own the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work that keeps the facility running. After roughly nine months, you’ll relocate to Warner, South Dakota, and take the lead as Facility Manager, running a brand-new site and guiding a small, high-performance team.
This role is built for the technician who wants more responsibility, more challenges, and a clear path to leadership.
- Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and mechanical systems
- Calibrate transmitters, gas analyzers, and instrumentation
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including H2S media changeouts
- Monitor digester, gas conditioning, and gas upgrading equipment
- Respond to call-outs, especially during startup phases
- Support AutoCAD updates, operational logs, and DCS activities
- Transition into a Manager role to lead construction setup, staffing, scheduling, and plant operations
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in an operating plant or similar industrial environment
- Comfortable working outdoors, in varying weather, and around manure-based systems
- Willing and able to relocate to Warner, SD after training
- Able to wear FR gear and pass background check, drug test, physical exam, and SCBA fit test
- High technical aptitude and readiness to grow into leadership
- Experience valued over formal degree
