QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Analyze business and functional requirements
• Create test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases
• Execute manual and/or automated test cases
• Identify, document, and track defects
• Perform regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing
• Validate data accuracy using SQL queries (if applicable)
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings
• Ensure application meets functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
  
  Maintain test documentation and reports
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger
• Validate UI/UX behavior across browsers and devices

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Manual Testing
• Knowledge of Automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright - if applicable)
• API Testing knowledge
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
• Version control knowledge (Git)

• Team collaboration mindset

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ISTQB certification (optional but preferred)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• 2-5 years (for mid-level role)
• 0-2 years (for junior role)
• 5+ years (for senior role)

Based on Your Requirement

• Experience in performance testing (JMeter)
• Security testing basics

• Experience in filters, reporting, data-heavy applications
• Strong database validation skills
