As a Sales Engineer
, your mission is to support the sales cycle by aligning Data Galaxy's platform with client needs - from understanding business and technical challenges, to designing tailored solutions, and showcasing the product's value in real-world use cases. You'll play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and securing long‑term partnerships.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements of client projects
- Build tailored solutions and lead POCs to demonstrate platform capabilities
- Provide recommendations to optimize implementation and facilitate production rollout
- Translate client needs and RFPs into compelling, customized offers
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure proposals meet both technical and business expectations
- Ensure alignment with budget, timelines, and customer expectations
- Deliver impactful product demos in meetings, workshops, or events
- Support account executives during client meetings and proposal defenses
- Contribute to commercial success across all phases of the sales cycle (discovery, solutioning, closing, handover)
- Organise and deliver monthly Webinars with subjects aligned with Go To Market priorities defined by VP Revenue and VP Marketing
- Represent Data Galaxy at trade shows, conferences, and presentations (France & abroad)
- Stay ahead of industry trends and conduct active competitive watch
- Experience in a Pre‑Sales, Solution Architect, or similar role in IT, Data, or Software sectors
- Strong understanding of enterprise software environments and SaaS platforms
- Familiarity with technical project management and integration logic
