Description
ALMACO in Nevada, IA is seeking a Field Service Writer to coordinate after sales support. This role is essential to our service team and ensures that we provide effective and efficient support to our clients.
The Field Service Writer position at ALMACO is a full-time non-exempt position with day-shift hours. During peak planting and harvesting seasons, overtime including some weekend hours are required to ensure service team and customer needs are met. Occasional overtime and weekend hours outside of peak season may be necessary.

As our Field Service Writer, you will assist clients with general service needs and route calls to the right support representatives. This position helps to coordinate field service through scheduling, managing sales orders and data management. You’ll work closely with clients and service teams to streamline operations and improve profitability.
Key responsibilities include:- Provide after-sales support by assisting clients with general service questions or concerns and routing calls to the appropriate support team.
- Manage customer data such as warranty information, repair history and contact information.
- Create, track and manager quotes, sales orders and job orders completely and accurately for Field Service activities.
- A high-school diploma or equivalent at minimum is required.
- Experience in customer service and support.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
- Experience using computer systems including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
