Speech and Language Pathologist for the school year. Required Master's Degree with a valid Professional Educator license with approved program/endorsement for SLPN - Speech and Language Pathlogist (Non-Teaching). Direct speech-language therapy services, prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in areas of language, speech, voice, and fluency. Conduct assessments, analyzing results/writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
Assist in the development of IEP's centered on the educational improvement for students, collaborating with school staff to meet specific objectives and needs of the student. Ensure evaluations, treatment plans and service delivery align with school, state and federal guidelines. Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders. Obtain additional diagnostic information from appropriate personnel and available records for speech language purposes.
