Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift

A patient-focused healthcare organization in Spirit Lake, Iowa is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a permanent, full-time role. This position offers consistent daytime hours, a strong compensation package, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment using modern charting systems.

Position Overview

· Permanent, full-time role

· 40 hours per week

· Day shift

· MEDITECH electronic medical record system

Shift Details

· 5 shifts per week

· 8-hour day shifts

Compensation & Incentives

· Salary range: $58,240 – $87,360 annually (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

· Provide respiratory care treatments and therapies to patients of all ages

· Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and airway support

· Respond to respiratory emergencies and rapid response situations

· Perform diagnostic testing such as ABGs and pulmonary function support

· Accurately document patient care in MEDITECH

· Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams

· Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans

· Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Requirements

· Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (Required)

· BLS Certification (Required)

· ACLS Certification (Required)

· PALS Certification (Required)

· NRP Certification (Required)

· Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience (Required)
