Overview
If you're interested in making a significant impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in an Outpatient setting, this Nevada position might be what you are looking for!
"This position comes with a $750 completion bonus, which you’ll receive once you successfully finish the 3-month contract."
Responsibilities- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
- Completion of an accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
- Ability to work effectively in an Outpatient setting
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Skills and Qualifications
- One or more years of experience in an Outpatient setting
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
- Pay: $1,735.03 - $1,788.69 / week
- Shift: Day
- Workplace: On-site
