Certified Medication Aide CMA

Overview

PRN (on-call) and 2nd shift full-time opportunities for Certified Medication Aides at Grandview Healthcare Center. We are rapidly growing and looking to invest in Certified Medication Aides by providing opportunities to further your career with the tools and encouragement you need to succeed.

• Provide medications to residents and ensure they receive the medications they need, as part of the clinical department.
• Perform activities of daily living as appropriate.
• Observe changes in residents' condition and report findings to the care team.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Maintain ongoing education related to medication administration and resident care.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered State of Iowa C.N.A. certificate.
• Successful completion of State of Iowa-approved Medication Aide training.
• CPR certification.
• One (1) year of C.N.A. and Medication Aide experience is preferable, but the right candidate may be considered for investment.
