In this role, you will have the opportunity to sharpen your direct care skills while assisting residents with personal cares, household responsibilities such as laundry and meals, and other duties that help ensure the household runs smoothly. A key highlight of this position is providing restorative and rehabilitation care to residents to help them maintain or regain their physical, mental, and emotional well‑being under the direction of a Licensed Therapist and/or Registered Nurse.

- Provide resident care under the supervision of a nurse and in collaboration with your care team
- Provide restorative and therapy services under the direction of a Licensed Therapist and/or RN
- Instruct residents on proper techniques for exercises and functional activities
- Assist residents with ambulation and exercise programs as outlined by the therapist and care plan
- Provide physical support with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, standing, and exercising
- Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned household tasks
- Promptly respond to resident calls for assistance and provide compassionate, person‑centered care
- Accurately chart resident interactions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ensure residents’ rights are respected and upheld at all times
- Participate in an on‑call rotation

- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Iowa
- Ability to work tactfully and professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff
- Strong commitment to serving others
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Prior direct care experience preferred, but not required
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on‑call shifts

- Clinical Onboarding (2 days of in‑person, on‑the‑job training)
